So here is the update on the house. . . First, we passed our four way inspection!!! Our brick will be done tomorrow and our stucco is started. We got all of the insulation done (which is the worst thing to do). Now we are having the drywall put up. It is starting to look like a house now! It is exciting! We are just trying to make some decisions about colors and flooring and everything. It is crazy! Our hardest choice right now is tile or hardwood floors for the kitchen. Any opinions?

Poor Justin! I didn't know he was having his tonsils out. You are such a good friend. My opinion on the kitchen floor is....wood.....tile is very cold on your feet. Of course I am prejudice since I have wood. I have tile in the bathrooms and laundry room and it is cold. Now ask Laurel because she has tile in her kitchen.....Love the look of your house so far.
I would also do wood. There are so many great options out of the prefinished wood. I did this in my house and absolutely love it!
I have to agree with my mother and sister. Tile in our aparment is very cold during the winter and I will only mop it on by hand down on my knees because I like to make sure I am getting between the tile and everything so it can be a pain. Wood is nice, but I remember when brady and I helped install prefinished wood at a house before and even while we were installing it, it was denting and everything. Then after they moved in and put furniture on it, it dented. Just be careful when moving and don't drop things :) anyways I really love Steph Sparrows floor, I can't remember what it is called, but it is like Purgo. We had purgo in our old house and it can't dent or chip, but it isn't real wood so it depends on what you want! I am excited to see your house. Everything is moving so quick!
