SSW

I graduated in May with my bachelors in Social Work. I knew that I needed to take a test to get my license but I really didn't want to. I don't feel like I am good at taking tests so I kept putting it off and putting it off. Last week I decided that I really need to just go take the test and get it over with. I called and set up the appointment to take it. I didn't really study until last night when I went over some questions on a practice test. I went and took the test early this morning. I was so nervous. There were 170 questions on the test and I had four hours to take it. I ended up taking two hours to take it. AND....I passed! I was shaking when I was waiting for the computer to show if I passed or not. When it said "pass" I had to read the whole page just to make sure it was true. This may be easy for a lot of people, but I was really nervous. So, I am excited that it is over and now I don't have to worry about it anymore. At my social work job we already have most of my stuff that says "Stephanie Hess, SSW" so I felt like I had to get it. Now, I don't have to worry! I can even order me some new cards (and maybe get a little raise). Anyways, sorry for bragging a little about myself but this made my day.
